Dr. Lauren Adams, a native of Ft. Worth, TX, grew up in a family of three sisters
highly influenced by the veterinary industry. Her father & inspiration, Dr. Sam Adams, is a well respected small animal
veterinarian still working at the practice he established in 1974. The many hours Lauren spent as a youth at the clinic and
time spent at the family ranch provided her a wealth of first hand experience. That knowledge coupled with her love of all
things great and small, put her on the path to graduation from the Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She
came to Bandera Veterinary Clinic for the opportunity to work in a reputable mixed animal practice and enjoy the beautiful
hill country. Lauren also plays a vital part in managing the health of the Quarter Horse and Red Angus breeding program at
the family owned Counts Creek Ranch in Morgan Mill, TX, where her parents now reside, as well as the fourth generation of
animal lovers.
